Ways to help your child learn words:
- Make the words onto flash cards and read through them daily.
- Put the words on card and blue tac them to their bedroom walls. Put the lights out and find them with the flashlight.
- Play with playdough and make the words.
- Draw the words outside with chalk or water.
- Collect shells or stones and make the words.
- Make matching sets of the words and play memory match.
- Write the words in creative ways such as in the sand at the beach or with glitter glue or gel pens.
- Put words around the house and play word detectives.
